Fall 2017 CYC Kickball Tournament
Sunday, September 24 – 10:00am-4:00pm (ish)
Batch Fields – Helena, MT
(2101 N Benton Ave, Helena, MT 59601)

Kickball is a simple game consisting of two teams, bases and a big red (or yellow) ball. The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry (OYYAM) at the Diocese of Helena sponsors a tournament because sometimes we just need to get outside and celebrate fellowship with a childhood game that caters to the non-athletic. This is a wonderful event for families and youth of all ages!

Who?
Everyone. Families are strongly encouraged to play together. All ages are welcome.

Cost?
$10 per person. This includes lunch!

How do I create a team?
Coordinate with your local youth minister to get a team together. If you do not have a youth minister, work with your local pastor. Families are encouraged to register for a team together. (Or, split yourselves among two teams in order to encourage friendly rivalry and a year of bragging rights).

For Youth Ministers:
All youth participants should arrange transportation with an adult representative from their parish. Minors should not drive themselves to this or any CYC event.

Each team can have up to 12 people, but parishes can have as many teams as they like. We encourage you to register each player, instead of them registering individually.

Chaperone Policy: We must maintain an appropriate youth-to-chaperone ratio. To be considered an adult chaperone, a person must be at least 21 years old and be VIRTUS-certified.  Each team needs to have one adult chaperone designated as the Team Captain, who will be the primary contact. Our ratio is a maximum of 11 youth per one adult chaperone.
